Guided mindful walk and meditation in nature
Service Description
Step outside, slow down, and awaken your senses. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, bathe in birdsong, run your fingers along the texture of tree bark, and breathe in the earth. This guided journey into nature weaves together a sensory walk, breathwork, and a grounding sit-spot meditation to bring you fully into the present moment. Led by Carleen, a Kripalu-Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide, this experience invites you to tune into the subtleties of the natural world, feel more embodied, and receive micro-doses of awe—those small yet powerful moments that spark wonder and connection. Science shows that awe, even brief moments, lowers stress-hormone cortisol, relaxes tension, and boosts mood and creativity. This simple, yet profound practice, is accessible to all levels of fitness. We begin with breathwork, orientation to place, gentle yoga stretching, then a 10 min mindful walk, followed by a 5 min sit spot meditation in nature. We finish with a closing circle that integrates our experience in community. Your invitation for a mini-retreat awaits.
