Mindful Makes: From Bark To Silver Sun • DEC 7 • 1-4P Includes 25 minute kiln firing ​​Just like us, every tree carries a story written in its skin—its bark. The smooth surface of youth gives way to cracks and grooves, each mark a record of a life that’s endured. In this workshop, we’ll commune with the trees through the language of the senses, listening with our hands and hearts. We’ll press mold putty onto bark to capture its living texture and transform into silver jewelry. Students will work with Silver Clay, a medium that bridges the worlds of clay and silversmithing, bringing the forest’s textures to life in metal. As you shape your piece, you’ll infuse the bark’s textures with your own story. The resulting talisman carries the magic of your lived experience: every groove and ridge a reminder of the paths you’ve walked, the strength you’ve rooted, and the new growth yet to sprout. This three-hour micro-retreat weaves together the restorative power of nature and creative expression. Your class fee includes ear wires or a necklace bail, silver clay, silicone mold materials, and tools.  Additional jewelry findings will be available for purchase including sterling silver necklace chains and clasps. No jewelry-making experience is needed. Open to ages 16 and up. Location: Yoga Barn
